Filmmakers Academy needed a homepage and pricing page that matched the calibre of their instructors, ASC cinematographers and Hollywood professionals. The existing design undersold everything they'd built.
The Challenge A world-class platform stuck behind an outdated interface. The homepage buried its value under feature lists. The pricing page didn't justify the membership, it just listed it. For a platform where Shane Hurlbut ASC is the face, the design had to feel as authoritative as the content.
The Approach Less features, more world-building. The redesign shifted the entire tone, from utility platform to cinematic brand experience. Every section was rebuilt around one question: does this make someone feel like they need to be here?
